- No Due Certificate is given to the borrower as per norms of the Boad of Governor(BOG) laws. (As per Bye law 22.4 c, The securities remaining unclaimed for two semesters succeeding the end of the semesters in which the students left the institute either by completing a particular course or otherwise shall lapse).

Issue of Books for Ist year and LEET Students
This
is for the information of the all the First
Year students of
B.Tech
(including LEET Students) and MBA
that they should get
their Library Membership Slips
from Ms. Sukhwinder
Kaur (at First Floor of Library) from
03 September
2013 (Tuesday)
onwards.
Students
should also get their Login Passwords of their Library membership
account. They can
access their Library account and Digital Library through their own
passwords.
Books
will be issued from
03 September
2013 (Tuesday)
onwards on
first cum first serve basis. Maximum 4 Books will be issued to each
Student for 30 days. Students are required to return or get reissued
the books on due date otherwise a Fine of Rs. 1/- per day per book
will be imposed after the due date.
One
CD ROM will be issued (from Digital Collection Section) only for one
day. A Fine of Rs. 5/- will be imposed if they do not return the CD
ROM after one day.

Book Bank Facility
MIMIT Central Library has Book
Bank facility for SC/ST students only. Book Bank will provide six books (as per
availability) to the each SC/ST student for one complete semester in the
beginning of each academic session apart from the normal facility of lending
four books from Central Library. The Central Library will notify the lending
schedule on the notice boards of the Central Library for all branches. There
will be no exchange of the book(s) once issued from Book Bank. However, book(s)
may be returned before the due date. Late return of Books
from Book Bank entitles a fine at Rs. One per day per book. Any defaulter in
this context will not be issued any books further unless he/she clears the old
dues.
